In Assam, all the wild-life sanctuaries and national parks have remained close due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
However, the iconic Kaziranga is all set to reopen from today.
- Kaziranga national park and tiger reserve scheduled to reopen today for the tourist season from 11:00 am.
- Due to bleakly weather and not so good condition of roads inside the national park, only Jeep Safari at Kaziranga Range, Kohora and Western Range Bagori will remain open for tourists.
3. Jeep safari in Kaziranga range, Kohora will be available till ”Vaishamari” and in Bagori Jeep Safari will cover till “Donga Watch Tower” and “Bimoli Tiniali” until further instructions.
- In the due course of time, the date for opening of Eastern Range, Agoratoli, Burapahar range, Ghorakato and Elephant Ride will be declared accordingly.
