BABRI MASJID DEMOLITION CASE: VERDICT ON SEPTEMBER 30

The Babri Masjid Demolition case has been pertaining since quite a few years now.
However in a recent development, the Special CBI Judge SK Yadav, have conferred that he will pronounce judgment in Babri mosque demolition case on September 30.

The court has directed all the 32 accused including former deputy PM LK Advani, ex CM Kalyan Singh , BJP leader MM Joshi, Uma Bharti and Vinay Katiar to remain present in the court on 30 September.

Earlier, the SC had granted time till September 30 to complete the trial and deliver its verdict after a three-judge Bench led by Justice Rohinton Nariman allowed a request made by Special Judge S.K. Yadav for more time.

The Bench noted that the trial was drawing to a close and a month more would be sufficient to complete the proceedings and deliver the judgment.As the deadline was earlier fixed on 31st August.

The case has been going on after the demolition of the 16th century mosque by kar sevaks in Ayodhya on December 6,1992.
