The interim Congress cheif Sonia gandhi flayed upon the farm laws and COVID-19 handling by the modi govt, during a party meeting on Sunday. During the meeting she also mentioned how there is a ‘systematic attack on our Constitution and our democratic traditions’. This meeting was the first meeting chaired by sonia gandhi after a major organisational reshuffling last month. According to a press statement issued by the Congress, Gandhi spoke about the three farm Acts passed last month, and called them “anti-agriculture black laws”. She further urged all the party leaders to gather forces and wage a war for the peoples’ issues.Congress general secretary in-charge (organisation) K C Venugopal disclosed that the Congress party will be launching a series of counter measure to oppose the “anti-farmer, anti-women, anti-poor and anti-people” policies of the BJP-led government at the Centre.
