GOVT. SCHOOLS RE-OPEN ACROSS ASSAM TODAY. HOW ARE THEY FUNCTIONING?

Government Schools across the State re-opened today, with all the SOPs followed, as reported.

P.E.O.P.L.E shares the exclusive photographs from several districts of Assam where the Schools re-opened today.

Whereas, in a continuation order previously, the Assam Government clarified that the SOPs issued for the fresh re-opening is only for ‘partial resumption’ in activities in schools & colleges for students.

They clarified that, there shall be “no compulsory” classes as of now. But, students can only visit their schools & colleges on a voluntary basis for only ‘taking Guidelines’ & ‘Counselling’ from the teachers.

In Lakhimpur, out of 302-schools, 277 re-opened today. 25-remained closed due to several reasons (no NOCs procured by students, some were COVID Care Centres). 1069-male teachers attended, and 572-female teachers attended.

In Dhubri, 100% schools re-opened today. No reports yet received of any COVID-19 patients. 800-male teachers attended, while 152-female teachers attended the classes today there today.
