#IMPACT: MVM-1 POSTPONES THEIR “SECRET” PLAN TO HOLD OFFLINE EXAMS

Maharishi Vidya Mandir-1, Silpukhuri previously planned out to hold offline examinations, violating the guidelines issued by the Central Government for the reopening of Educational Institutions across the nation. A printed notification was issued on October 1, by the authority notifying the time-table, seat plan in regards with offline examination for the students of classes 9-12.

Following which, students & their parents expressed their unwillingness & disapproval to conduct the examination. Several parents wrote & reached out the authority demanding cancellation of the examination.

On 4th October, P.E.O.P.L.E made a report, also reached out the faculty regarding the same. Also, several other media agencies, and broadcasting television channels reported about this violation of guidelines, amid COVID-19 pandemic.

A fresh notification has been issued by the School Authority to the students of “postponing the examination for all the classes,” stating the dates will be notified later.

However, it is to be noted that, the Central Government now issued SOPs for the reopening procedure of the schools. Assam Education Minister has expressed that, all the Educational Institutions in Assam will reopen only after 1st November. The Government is likely to issue state-based SOPs by 20th October.
