INDIAN GOVERNMENT SETS ASIDE $7BN. TO VACCINATE ITS PEOPLE.

When the estimated cost of the corona virus vaccine came out to be $6-$7 per person, the Indian government set aside a sum of $7bn, for the sole purpose of vaccinating it’s citizens. With the second largest population in the world, this will be one of the biggest government-run vaccine drives in history.The money provisioned so far is for the current financial year ending March 31 and there will be no shortage of further funds for this purpose, the government stated. Prime Minister Modi on Tuesday said his government will ensure all Indians have access to a Covid-19 vaccine as soon it is ready.
