KHABIB NURMAGOMEDOV ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT FROM MMA

Khabib Nurmagomedov surprised MMA fans all over the world after he announced his retirement with his latest victory over Justin Gaethje.

Khabib is the unbeaten lightweight champion. He decided to retire from MMA following his father’s death. In his last match before announcing his retirement, Khabib impressively beat Justin Gaethje with a triangle choke early in the second round at UFC 254 on Saturday night.

Following his victory over Justin, khabib said, ” This is my last fight, There’s no way I’m going to be back without my father. I spoke to my mother. She don’t know how I fight without father, but I promised it’s going to be my last fight, and if I give my word, I have to follow it.”

Khabib had cemented his legacy as the greatest lightweight fighter of all time and perhaps the greatest MMA fighter of all time. He is 13-0 in the UFC and is now 29-0 in his mixed martial arts career.

Khabib has become the first champion in UFC history to retire undefeated.
