An Anniversary Edition of The Kia Seltos is expected to launch in the coming month. The Anniversary Edition will be launched in order to celebrate the vehicles first year anniversary in India. The mid sized SUV was the Korean carmakers first vehicle to launch in the Indian market back in August 2019.
The special edition model is going to be based on the Tech Line i.e. the HTX trim.
Anniversary Edition gets noticeable design tweaks to the Seltos HTX trim. For example , it gets new front and rear bumpers which is expected to increase the vehicle’s length by 60mm, it gets new side skirts and 17-inch alloy wheels finished in Raven Black shade, orange accents on the – fog-lamp surrounds , side skirts, lower section of the rear bumper, and the centre caps of the alloy wheels.
The most interesting feature update for the Anniversary Edition is the “Remote Start ” feature which can be used by holding a button on the Key fob of the vehicle to start the vehicle . This feature previously was only available in the automatic transmission variants of the Seltos but has now been paired with the Manual Transmission only for the Anniversary Edition model.
In order to make the “1st Anniversary Edition ” name stand out, the Seltos HTX also gets an orange ‘1st Anniversary Edition’ badge on the tailgate.
The Anniversary Edition comes with two exclusive dual-tone exterior colour options like – Gravity Grey with Aurora Black Pearl and a Steel Silver with Aurora Black Pearl. These two shades will be offered along with the existing dual tone Glacier White Pearl with Aurora Black Pearl top and a single tone Aurora Black Pearl paint finish. The interior is finished in an all black colour scheme replacing the dual tone white and black tone interior colour scheme.
The Anniversary Edition is expected to be priced
₹25,000-30,000 higher than the standard HTX trim.
