The King of Bollywood is finally making some news when it comes to working on an upcoming film. As per Bollywood Hungama, Khan will be teaming up with Sidharth Anand, the director of 2019s action blockbuster film ‘WAR’ starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff as lead. The upcoming film will also see Sharukh sharing the screen with Deepika Padukone in a pivotal role. The film is reported to begin it’s shoot in November end.

Shah Rukh Khan’s last film ‘Zero’ was a disaster in the box office. The actor had high hopes that the film would have performed very well given its unique premise and the talent behind the camera. Even the trailer was very well received by the general public and the levels of excitement among his die hard fans was reaching new levels. However, once released in the theatres the movie received serious negative reviews which spread like a fire across the internet and resulted in the audience to skip the film. Since then Shah Rukh has been very silent about his next project as he felt very disappointed by the film’s performance.

Shah Rukh had shot for a cameo in the Ranveer Kappor starrer ‘Brahmastra’ and another film ‘Rocketry’ during the self-imposed break to reassess his career choices. It’s been speculated that the announcement of his upcoming film might be announced by YRF on his birthday on November 2. The film also seems to be eyeing for a late 2021 release which would make it the longest time taken by Shah Rukh between two films, his last film being ‘Zero’.

Despite the lower than expected box office performance of Shah Rukh Khan’s previous films, the actor has still been recieving offers for lead role from many prominent directors for big projects. He has rejected almost 20 films which includes films offered by notable director like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ali Abbas Zaffar, Salman Khan and Siddharth Roy Kapur. This clearly goes on to show that the actor is still in high demand among filmmakers despite the troubled past years Shah Rukh had had in the box office.
