US President Donald Trump nominated for Nobel Peace Prize.

With the season of election running high in in the United States, the present president Donald Trump has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize regarding his efforts in the middle east, by a member of the Norwegian Parliament, Christian Tybring-Gjedde. According to the nominator, president Trump should be recognised on this basis because of his work “for a peace agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Israel which opens up for possible peace in the middle east”.

The previously two ‘conflicted nation’, Israel and UAE has finally come into terms and agreed last month, for the very first time in its history, to normalise their relations and are also scheduled to sign their newly formed relations at a White House ceremony on September 15. “No matter how Trump acts at home and what he says at press conferences, he has absolutely a chance at getting the Nobel Peace Prize,” Tybring-Gjedde said, further adding that he nominated Trump for the 2021 prize as “Donald Trump meets the criteria”.
