Three persons, including a woman, were lynched after the woman allegedly killed her husband along with her lover in Jharkhand’s Gumla district on Tuesday. Police have sent all the four bodies for post-mortem.
According to the police, Neelam Kujur and her lover Sudeep Dundung, Marianus Kujur, killed the woman’s husband, Marianus Kujur, a resident of Dengardih village in Gumla district, on Monday night.
Sudeep, a resident of Nongha, had reached Dengardih village to meet Neelam along with his friend Paki Kullu on Monday.
They planning the murder and executed it that very night. Meanwhile, the villager were irked after they came to know about the incident and lynched the three accused. A villager said it was “demoralising and humiliating” for the entire village that a married woman was involved in an extra marital affair and killed her husband.
An operation has been launched to arrest the people involved in the lynchings.
